Oulton Mill Pool

About this pool
Oulton Mill Pool is a large but constant shallow lake with a silty bed. Most fishing is from the left bank as you look at the lake from the dam wall.

Fishing is also permitted from the right side but steep banks and the need for waders to reach the platforms makes this a tricky option.

There are some good catches of carp reaching 20+ in this lake so those of you who want to invest a little more time to target larger fish, then the option to night fish is available. We will also be holding some 24hr carp only matches on this water in April and June.
