There has been a recorded outbreak of KHV on a Cheshire water.

To stop the spread of this virus, it is imperative that you follow these rules when visiting any of our waters:

1. Little Mill, Oulton Mill and Little Budworth all have net dip tanks, please ensure all of your nets, mats and slings are thoroughly dipped and rinsed before you start fishing.

2. After fishing make sure you wash, clean and dry landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings before your next session.

3. Where possible, place the above equipment in direct sunlight, as this kills off viruses and other pathogens.

4. Any member who has a guest with them must also make sure they follow these instructions.

We have advised on this several times in recent months, therefore we expect every member to use the Net Dips provided.

Bailiffs will be checking to ensure rules are followed.
