August Update

HAMPTON SPRINGS FISHERY
I am pleased to announce that the committee have reflected on member and team feedback and are continuing to partner with Hampton Springs Fishery.

NEW RULE
All members are required to sign in at the clubhouse/shop before fishing so that we can record how many members are using the fishery each season.

It is a substantial cost to the club, which we need to ensure is being fully utilised.

Guests still pay the standard entrance fee of £10, so you can have a great day out with friends and family.

I hope this goes down well?
Please make the most of these facilities.

FISH STOCKING UPDATE
The club has committed to spending £15,000 over the next 3 seasons in a planned way to ensure we have a steady release of fish into Little Mill, Little Budworth and Oulton Mill.

The club wants to invest heavily in Little Mill to ensure our legacy water is properly stocked and maintained. Stages and landscaping will all be planned this year.

Chris Butters and Dave Blackwell will make sure we have the right type and size of fish on order.

This includes, Tench, Crucians, Bream, Roach and Perch for Little Mill. Replacement Carp For Little Budworth and Chub for Oulton Mill.

By committing the funds early, we can secure bigger fish on pre-order and be more selective.

I hope you all agree this is fantastic news and keeps the clubs momentum going.

We will of course still need member support for work parties to ensure these plans are delivered.

Kind Regards
Jonathan
