Because of the hot weather we now have carp spawning on the following waters.

Oulton Mill, Little Budworth Mill Pool and Little Mill pool. We have also been informed that Hampton Springs have closed their waters.

This means that fishing of any kind is not permitted on these waters until we are satisfied that they have completed spawning.

We hope you understand that we have to do this for the benefit of our fish stocks, as soon as we feel it is safe for fishing to continue we will let you know.

We have also activated the airators we purchased on Little Budworth Mill Pool, hopefully this will speed up the spawning period and provide a better environment for the fish going forward.
