Aeration Update…

Hello all Members – I hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying the fishing. We have some some fantastic photos being shared of some lovely fish recently – please keep them Coming.

We have had a few queries from members in relation to fish welfare.

This has been on the agenda for a while with the club, following advice from The Angling Trust and Environment Agency, I am pleased to update that the committee has voted and agreed funding for new aeration equipment.

We invested heavily in fish last season, so we need to protect new and existing stocks.

This will be a significant amount of this year’s budget, but is a necessary investment with the way the weather is changing. It will allow us to stay ahead of any changes.

Our main 3 pools all have good, natural water feeds from springs and streams, so this will add to the support.

We will have a mobile system that we can move to the Dell and Kelsall as needed.

So to reassure members, you will see equipment over the next 10 days being used.

This will disrupt swims so please be sensible and considerate to the pool needs.

As always – if you have any questions please reach out to myself or the Bailiffs that you regularly see.

Kind Regards
Jonathan
