I have purchased a set of calibrated weights designed to test weighing scales.
The set consists of the following calibrated weights:-
1 x 500g (1.102 lbs)
1 x 1kg (2.205 lbs )
3 x 2kg ( 2kg = 4.409 lbs)

How accurate are your weighing scales?
Following on from a suggestion from one of our management team members at a management committee meeting.

With this set we can test weigh between 0.5kg — 7.5kg with half a kilogram increments.
This will save anyone claiming a club record weight from sending their scales away for testing.

This set was obviously expensive and as such will stay at the secretary’s home, if any member wants to check the accuracy of their scales please contact the secretary directly and we will sort out a testing.

Best Regards
Bryan Perks
