Sorry folks Oulton Mill and Little Budworth are both closed due to the Carp spawning again.

At a management meeting on Thursday 8th June it was decided that we (TDAC) needed a solid spawning plan.

We have adopted the Angling Trust guidelines which are:-

On the first sign of spawning fish, close the water for one week minimum, after this time have a bailiff check the water on a daily basis, once the activity has stopped reopen the water, waters may be closed for two weeks.

We are taking this action to protect our fish stocks.

The new spawning rules will only apply to the following waters:-

Oulton Mill

Little Budworth 

Little Mill

Willow Pool

This rule applies to the water and not the fish species.
