I have this morning received a complaint from Mr. Chessworth, the owner of Willow and Lodge pools, he has witnessed members of the club on site at 7.45am at Lodge pool.

The club rules are simple “NO ONE ON SITE BEFORE 8AM“, that means on his property. It does not mean parking your car in the car park and going on ‘walk about’.

Rules for fishing number 24, (in your members handbook) states the rules for fishing at Lodge and Willow pools and these must be adhered to. Let’s not give this gentleman any excuse to rescind our lease on either of these two pools.

Due to the seriousness of this situation we have no choice but to invoke disciplinary action against anyone breaking these very important rules. Please pass this onto anyone not on Facebook (older chaps etc).

There is one person who can be on Willow and Lodge before 8am and that is Brian Meesham (site bailiff and maintenance man for both pools). Brian has permission from Mr. Chessworth to start work at 7.30am. I will be asking Brian to report anyone arriving before 8am.

Some people say “it’s alright l know Mark (Mr. Chessworth) But you are members of this club and will abide by our rules, regardless of who you know.
