Tarporley Angling Club presented cheques for £430 to Tarporley War Memorial Hospital, both organisations are celebrating 100 year anniversaries in 2019. The money was raised from a fishing competition held on the Shropshire Union Canal and members donations. More funds will be raised in July from a 24 hour Carp competition.
