BUCKLEY CUP – WILLOW POOL 30 JULY 2017

Fish were hard to come by on Sunday at Willow Pool, John Stubbs had a nice F1 carp from his last cast of the match to win his first contest this year with 2lb 2oz, in second place came Darren Davenport with 1lb 13oz and close third was Paul Roden with 1lb 12oz.

Hard luck story of the day was John Dodd who hooked a ghost carp with 15 minutes to go in the match, but after fighting the fish for 30 minutes the hook straightened. Rain during the week and varying temperatures seemed to have put the fish off this weekend.

Next match is the last evening match on Wednesday 2nd August 7.00 – 9.00pm at Little Mill.

Sunday 19th August 8-30 – 12-30pm is the pairs match to be held at Willow Pool.
