Tarporley’s matchmen lined the banks of Little Mill today to fish for The Stockton Cup.

First place went to Sean Cookson with 5lb 10oz a catch consisting of 1 Tench and lots of Roach and Perch, in second place came Ian Kinsella with 4lb 9oz of silver fish and in third place came John Dodd with 2lb 12oz again mostly Roach.

Next Sunday the team fish their second leg contest against Wyche Anglers again at Little Mill, Wyche lead by 3 points from the first leg so the boys are confident they can win through.
