Tarporley’s matchmen lined the banks of Willow Pool in bright conditions to fish for The white Cup,

First place went to Steve Probert who weighed in 11lb 4oz inc best match fish so far with a Ghost Carp at 9lb 2oz which Steve did well to land on his pole. Second place came Roy Garton with a good net of Tench and F1’s for 8lb 8oz, third was John Dodd who had a lot of Roach in his net for 6lb 7oz and fourth place came Darren Davenport with 5lb 6oz.

One result outstanding was the evening match on Little Mill, June 15th – 1st Mark Hulse 4lb 2oz 2nd Roger Davenport 3lb 10oz 3rd Roy Garton 3lb 0oz
