WILLOW POOL June 18th 2017

With soaring temperatures 10 anglers lined the bank at Willow Poll to fish for The Goodwins Cup and it turned into a red hot contest between father and son, Ronnie and Ian Kinsella. On this occasion Ian took the honours with 11lb 9oz with Ronne second with 11lb 4oz. Third place went to John Dodd with 9lb 5oz and in fourth came Sean Cookson with 7lb 14oz including “fish of the day” a superb 5lb 4oz Common Carp.

Over 60lb of fish were caught by 10 anglers including F1’s, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd and 4 Eels.

Next Sunday it’s the inter club match with Wyche Anglers in Whitchurch – best of luck lads!
