Tarporley AC held it’s first match of 2017 on Sunday at Little Mill, Cotebrook.

Eleven anglers fished for four hours in sunny but breezy conditions.

First place went to Peter Williams who caught 2 Tench for 7lb 3oz, Peter fished the tip from peg 5.

Second place went to Roy Garton who caught 2 Tench late on for 4lb 5oz, Roy fished the pole using corn from peg 19.

Third place was Mick Croft and Fourth Ian Kinsella.
